Here's a sample of projects that we've completed that are being used in different escape rooms today.
Ouija Board
This Ouija board detects when the planchet is in the correct place, then moves it automatically to give the player a special message.
Map Prop
Pushing buttons causes an action to occur elsewhere in the room.
Switch Board Prop with Morse Code
Using clues found, the switchboard route is completed, and Morse code plays for another puzzle.
Capacitance Touch Prop
For this prop, players touch the symbols in a specified order to achieve a desired goal.
Weather Prop
Input from another part of the game moves the hand to a weather prediction.
Fireplace Mantel
This is the backside of a fireplace that users open in a prior room. A kick-place that can be removed when a maglock is turned off is a part of this, as well as a storage area for multiple electronic props.
Gun Mount
Finding the fun and placing it in the right location (on the mount) activates a relay that kicks off a prop elsewhere in the room.
Spinning Disks Puzzle
There are three disks that can be used to complete this puzzles and line up the numbers on the top of the board to get a code.
Map Trail
This map has sensors in the back that are activated when the correct piece is moved across the surface. When triggered in the correct order, this triggers a relay that activates another prop.
RFID Cross
When placed in its holder, this triggers a relay for activating other props.
Panels Puzzle
This puzzle includes acrylic panels that can be arranged within the table top; solving the panels helps put the symbols underneath in order to use in a corresponding prop.
Spell Wheel
This prop includes several elements that you find as you move through the room. There are six coins that can be placed in the circle spaces on the outer edge of the wheel. When all six are placed in the correct spaces (uses RFID), the spell wheel is activated and LED lights light along the edge. Additionally, the symbols along each spoke are illuminated one at a time on each spoke until they are frozen using the brass touch points. Once the correct symbol on each spoke is illuminated, the lighting changes and a relay is triggered to activate another box.
Drum Prop
This stand and drum are used together to provide access to other tools in the room. By beating the correct pattern on the drum head, the door below is opened; LED lights shine within the open box to draw attention.
Hidden Drop Box
This box takes input from other puzzles and opens when power to the maglock is removed.
Maze Puzzle
This has a hidden maze on the inside and opens completely when solved, with room for small items such as a key in the compartment.
